Pangguangshu(BL28,膀胱俞) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Meaning

Pangguang, bladder; shu, point.
This point is where the Qi of Bladder is infused into the back.

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 2nd sacral vertebra.

Indication

  • 1.main point for diseases of the urinary bladder and its functional regulation: obstruction of urination, retention or enuresis, incontinence of urine.
  • 2.pain of the local area.

Method

Perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 cun.
