Synonyms:
Sanjiaoshu(BL22,三焦俞) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot. It is the back transport point of triple energizer.
Location
1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the lst Lumber vertebra(L1).
Indication
- ①Borborygmus, abdominal distension, vomiting, dysentery;
- ②retention of urine, edema;
- ③pain and stiffness in the lower back.
Method
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
