Property

Slightly bitter, cold, slightly toxic; liver and large intestine meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and dampness, activate blood and remove toxicity.

Indications

Rheumatic arthritis, dermatitis, pruritus vulvae, dermatitis rhus, herpes zostor, eczema, abdominal pain with vomiting and diarrhea, hypogalactia.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~30 g, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
