Property

Bitter, pungent, cold; lung and liver meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, clear lung fire and relieve cough, stop bleeding and resolve swelling.

Indications

Cough due to lung-heat, hematemesis, traumatic hemorrhage, dropsy of limbs, fever due to warm disease.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~6 g, or made into pill or powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder for applying.
