The Effect of 食鹽

Property

Salt, cold; stomach, kidney, small intestine and large intestine meridians entered.

Actions

Clear fire, induce vomiting, cool blood and remove toxicity.

Indications

Abdominal distension, constipation, difficult urination, toothache, nebula, sores and boils, insect bites, indigestion, laryngalgia, gingival bleeding.

Dosage and Administrations

Melted in boiling water, 1~3 g. Proper dosage is for external application. Stir-fry it for applying on the affected area, or melted in water for washing and eye-dropping.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of edema. Do not take too much.
