The Effect of 豆瓣绿

Property

Pungent, bitter, slightly warm; lung, liver and spleen meridians entered.

Actions

Relax the tendons and activate blood, expel wind and eliminate dampness, resolve phlegm and relieve cough.

Indications

Sores and boils, indigestion, infantile malnutrition, whooping cough, asthma, dysentery, traumatic injury, rheumatic arthritis, stomatitis, watery diarrhea, sphagitis, cough caused by overstrain.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~15 g, or made into pills and powder, or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
