Property
Pungent, bitter, warm; spleen, stomach and liver meridians entered.
Actions
Promote the circulation of qi, activate blood and alleviate pain.
Indications
Stomachache, traumatic injury, dysmenorrhea, arthralgia and myalgia, abdominal distension due to qi stagnation, innominate toxic swelling.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 9~15 g, or take the powder, 1~1.5 g. . Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
Cautions
It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
