The Effect of 海螺壳

Property

Salt, cold; liver and stomach meridians entered.

Actions

Resolve phlegm, disperse nodule, relieve spasm.

Indications

Stomachache, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, tuberculous lymphadenitis, spasm of hands and feet.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 5~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of deficiency cold in the intestines and stomach.
