Property
Pungent, bitter, slightly warm; liver and spleen meridians entered.
Actions
Activate blood and dispel blood stasis, promote diuresis and resolve swelling.
Indications
Abdominal mass, traumatic injury, incised wound, sores and boils, amenorrhea, abdominal pain due to blood stasis after delivery, dropsy of body and face.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 6~12 g, or made into pill and powder. Proper dosage is for external application, decocted for washing or pounded for applying with fresh product.
Cations
It is contraindicated to people without blood stasis.
