The Effect of 手兒參

Property

Sweet, neutral; spleen, lung and stomach meridians entered.

Actions

Relieve cough and asthma, tonify the kidney, strengthen the spleen, tonify qi and blood, alleviate pain.

Indications

Impotence, frequent urination, spermatorrhea, traumatic injury, chronic hepatitis, chronic diarrhea, cough with asthma caused by lung-deficiency, neurasthenia, leucorrhea, hemorrhage, oligogalactia, lassitude in loin and legs , thinness caused by consumptive disease, kidney deficiency.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or pounded into powder, or soaked in wine.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor.
