慢性胃炎的食疗

Chronic gastritis is chronic inflammation of gastric mucosa caused by different factors. The main symptoms are epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, belching, and slow progression, long-term repeating attacks, ingravescence.

The disease belongs to Chinese medicine "stomachache", "syndrome of feeling fullness and distension in the upper abdomen ", " nausea ", "vomit" categories, it is mostly due to the improper diet, eat spicy or raw foods or drinking high degree alcohol as well as mental stimulation. Or it is commonly seen after gastritis, ulcer diseases. And can attack at any age.

Food therapies principles:

  • 1 One should eat slowly, avoid overeating.

  • 2 Avoid spicy food, smoking and drinking, drink less strong tea and coffee. Avoid overheat, acid, smoked and pickled foods. At the same time, one should also avoid pills that are amyctic to stomach such as sodium salicylate, aspirin, indomethacin, etc.

  • 3 Eat digestible food, avoid cold, hard, rough, over amount fiber containing food, such as celery, leek, yellow bean sprouts.

  • 4 Eat foods with more protein and vitamins, such as eggs, milk, meat, fish, beans and green vegetables.

  • 5 If the patient has too little gastric acid, then he should eat more acidic food; for people have much more gastric acid, one should not eat acid-produced food, such as sugar, sweet cakes, sweet potato and strong tea, coffee, wine, gravy, but should intake appropriate food that can neutralize stomach acid, such as soda biscuits, baked bread.

  • 6 Pay attention to work and rest, healthy regime, having optimistic mood, avoid stress、anxiety、depression、angry moods,especially when intaking foods.

General foods:

Main courses:

  • ① Dou kou buns: dou kou 15 grams, 1000 grams of flour, jiao mian 50 grams. Make dough with flour and jiao mian, cover up for about 2 hours, wait for fermentation, add proper alkali and dou kou powder, Knead well, make buns, steam about 15 minutes.

  • ② Radish cake: white radish 250 grams, 250 grams of flour, 100 grams of lean porks. Wash and slice radish, stir-fry until it’s half done. Chopp the meat into puree, add white radish, ginger, onions, salt into the stuffing.The amount of water and flour into the filling. Mix flour and water into into dough, made into flour slices, fill in the prepared fillings and fry in the pot until well done.

  • ③ Stomach-nourishing porridge: 100 grams of glutinous rice, shan yao 50 grams, red bean 50 grams, qian shi 25 grams, 25 grams of yi mi, lotus 25 grams, 10 jujubes, proper sugar. Wash the glutinous rice, peel and dice shan yao. Boil Glutinous rice for half an hour, then add other materials, braise through. Add appropriate amount of sugar for flavour.

Dishes:

  • ① Garlic taste cabbage: cabbage 500 grams, appropriate amount of ginger, wash and slice them. Smash one garlic.Fry garlic, ginger, add shredded cabbage, stir thoroughly and add in seasonings, boil for 2 minutes.

  • ② White pepper braised with pig tripe: One tripe, white pepper powder 10 grams, wipe on pig tripe, add rice wine, salt and soak for half an hour, add water, wine, ginger, stew with slow fire.

  • ③ Double taste duck: one duck, ding xiang,chen xiang each 9 grams, proper rice wine, onions, salt, soy sauce, sugar, MSG. Fry ding xiang、chen xiang with a little salt, soak the duck with rice wine, soy sauce, scallion, ginger for one hour, then add in water, wine, ginger and simmer well.

Soup:

  • 1 Da mai ren soup:cao gu 5 pieces, mutton 150g, da mai ren 50g, proper salt. Clean da mai cha and boil well in the pot. Clean the mutton, add in the aluminium pot along with cao gu, mix soup with da mai ren and stew with slow fire. Dice the mutton and add into the da mai soup, add a little salt and mix well.

  • 2 Bai he li zhi soup: 20g bai he, chuan lian zi 20g, li zhi he 20g, wu yao 15g. Mix them all in the pot and soak for 30g, then fry for 30g minutes, fry each material for 3 times and mix the three decoctions together. Apply one time in the morning and at night.

A. Liver qi category symptoms

clinical manifestations:

Stomach pain and fullness;pain in costal regions;full fullness and discomfort, especially after meals, get serious when things go wrong directions or encounter uneasy situations and people; nausea and vomiting;belching, acid regurgitation;pale tongue, thin white coating;float pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Clear liver stagnant, nourish the stomach;actiavte circulation liver qi.

Food therapies:

  • 1.Ginger ju pi drink:ginger, ju pi, ju luo, ju ye each 20 grams. Clean and put in the pot, boil 30 minutes, leave out slags and collect the decoction. Apply one dose a day both in a.m. and p.m.

  • 2 Qing gan pi sha ren powder:250 grams of qing gan pi. Shan ren powder 10 grams. Shan yao 10 grams. Dry qing gan pi under the sun. Slice it. Smash qing gan pi and shan yao into powder, mix with sha ren powder and done. Apply two times a day for 6 g each time. Apply with warm water.

  • 3 Jasmine chicken breast slice: 200 grams of chicken meat, jasmine flower 10 grams, 2.5 grams of salt, MSG 1 gram, 0.2 grams of pepper, sugar 2 grams, 15 grams of egg white, starch 3 grams, 5 grams of onion, ginger 5 grams. Make Chicken breast meat into thin slices, put on sauce, clean the flower, soak a while in hot water. Stir the chicken meat when the oil is half boiled, leave a little oil for the green onion and ginger, add proper salt and MSG, pour in the chicken and jasmine and stir several times.

B. Weakness in spleen and stomach:

clinical manifestations:

Gastral cavity pain;prefer warmness and heat;fullness and discomfort,especially after the meal;reduced food intake;hungry but not willing to eat;lusterless complexion;spiritlessness;loose stool;pale tongue with white coating;slow and weak pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Nourish the spleen and qi;warm the middle human body and stomach.

Food therapies principle:

  • 1 Shan yao fu ling lotus root soup:shan yao 50 grams, fu ling 50 grams, 150 grams of lotus root. Brown sugar 30 grams. Smash shan yao and fu ling. Clean root and slice, put into the pot, simmer until it’s done, add in shan yao powder and fu ling, boil into thick soup, add a little sugar.

  • 2 Fried lentils: one portion of fried lentils, dang shen, hawthorn, yu zhu, shan zha, wu mei. Stew all the materials until the beans are done.

  • 3 Huang qi gui cao soup:huang qi 30 grams, 6 grams of rou gui, Zhi gan cao 9 grams, jujube 10 grams. Put into the pot, add right amount water, boil 30 minutes, remove slags and collect juice.

C. Stomach yin-deficiency symptoms:

clinical manifestations:

Gastral cavity pain, burning pain, dry mouth less saliva, belching, retching, heat in hands and feet, dry stool, red tongue with no coating, rapid and weak pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Nourish the yin and stomach, promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid and clear heat.

Food therapies:

  • 1 Mai dong shi hu tea:10 grams mai dong, 6 grams of shi hu, 3 grams of green tea. Smash mai dong、shi hu into powder, add green tea together into the cup, brew with boiling water, wait for 10 minutes. Drink as tea.

  • 2 Wu mei porridge:wu mei 15 grams, 100 grams of rice, red dates 3 pieces. Proper amount of crystal sugar. Simmer wu mei and collect the decoction, add rice and red dates, make porridge. When the porridge is about to ready, add crystal sugar, boil for a while.

D. Stomach yin deficiency symptoms:

clinical manifestations:

Fullness and uneasy in stomach; burning in stomach;dry mouth and throat;tasteless;excessive intake and drinking;tiredness, dizziness, dry stool, red tongue, less coating of tongue;thin and rapid pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Nourish yin and stomach;relieving pain.

Food therapies:

  • 1 Sha shen mai dong stomach nourishing porridge:sha shen 15 grams, mai dong 10 grams, 10 grams of shi hu, wu mei 10 grams, 6 grams of fo shou. Ku gua 10 grams. Clean the above materials, add appropriate amount of water and boil 40 minutes, remove slag and collect juice. Apply one time a day and separate into two dosages.
  • 2 Qing mei prescription:qing mei 500 grams, salt 135 grams, 500 grams of sugar, orange skin 90 grams, ginger 150 grams, 30 grams of pepper, zi su one bunch. Cut qing mei into 4 pieces, sprinkle with salt. Wait until the acid juice show up. Chopp fresh zi su, sprinkle with salt, pickle for juice, pinch with hands, mix with sugar, orange skin, ginger, pepper, plum, put in the small cylinder, pick up after 3 days and 3 nights. Eat as snacks.

E.Qi and yin deficiency:

clinical manifestations:

Gastral cavity pain;sometimes the stomach is noisy like the one getting hungry;eating less and difficult to digest;abdominal discomfort;tired and exhausted;thirsty and not willing to drink;loose stool;pale tongue and coating;weak and thin pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Tonifying qi and nourish the yin;tonifying spleen and stomach.

Food therapies:

  • 1 Shen ling tea:fu ling 10 grams, 10 grams of Nan sha shen, cut into slices, put into the cup, stew with boiling water, seal for 15 minutes. Apply as tea.

  • 2 Qi Mai mixed rice:10 grams of gou qi, mai dong 20 grams, 1000 grams of rice, chicken 100 grams, 50 grams of carrots, tofu 50 grams, 50 grams of lotus root, right amount of soy sauce, rice wine. Stew gou qi and mai dong for one hour, collect the decoction for 1 cup; chop the chicken, carrots into strips, lotus root into round slices, mix together with tofu、rice、soy sauce, rice wine and water, cook well.

F.Stomach and liver disharmonious symptoms:

clinical manifestations:

Gasteremphraxis, belching and hiccup frequently, yellow tongue coating, red tongue, weak or thin pulse.

Food therapies principles:

Soothing the liver and tonifying stomach.

Food therapies:

  • 1 Qing pi sha shen drink: qing pi 10 grams, 10 grams sha shen. 5 grams of honey. Clean qing pi and sha shen and put into casserole, add appropriate amount of water, simmer for 10 minutes, leave juice, add in honey when it’s warm. Apply one time a day as tea.

  • 2 Shao yao five flowers soup: 15 grams shao yao, 3 grams Zhi gan cao, fo shou 3 grams, 3 grams of bian dou flower, hou po flower 3 gram, lv er mei 3 grams, 3 grams of bitter citrus immature flower. Boil shao yao、gan cao with small fire for 30 minutes, add five kinds of flowers, then boil 5 minutes, collect the decoction. Apply one dose a day.

G. Spleen and stomach deficiency and weakness

clinical manifestations:

Epigastric pain and fullness;poor appetite, severe pain after eating, belching, dizziness and fatigue, spiritlessness, loose stool, pale tongue with white coating, weak pulse.

Tonifying qi and nourishing spleen;relieving and eliminating mass and tonifying stomach.

Hu jiao wu zao prescription:one wu mei, three red dates, 7 pepper. Smash wu mei and pepper into powder. Move the core of the dates and smash together with wu mei and pepper powder.
