Property

Pungent, warm.

Actions

Stimulate the flow of qi and alleviate pain, activate blood and dissipate stasis.

Indications

Traumatic injury, amenorrhea, sores and boils, rheumatic arthritis, abdominal distension, internal lesion and hematemesis caused by overexertion，arthralgia and myalgia.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~15 g, or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated for combining with Gan Cao.
