Property

Bitter, sweet, slightly cold; lung and heart meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and nourish the lung, resolve phlegm and relieve cough.

Indications

Dry cough with little phlegm, expectoration with blood, cough due to consumptive disease.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g.

Cautions

Contraindicated to Chuan Wu, Cao Wu, Fu Zi.
