Ingredients

Explanation

Xiang Ru: Relieving exterior syndrome and dispelling cold, removing summer-heat and resolving dampness.

Hou Po: Promoting the circulation of qi and relieve fullness, dissipating stagnation due to dampness.

Bai Bian Dou: Strengthening the spleen, harmonizing the spleen and stomach, eliminating dampness and relieving summer-heat.

The Effect of 三物香薷饮

Effect

Dispel summer-heat, relieve exterior syndrome, resolve dampness and harmonize the spleen and stomach.

Indications

Fever with aversion to cold, abdominal pain with diarrhea and vomit, head heaviness with body pain, choking sensation in chest, whitish and greasy coating on the tongue, floating pulse.

Administrations

Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
