The Effect of Xian Cai

Property

Sweet, slightly cold; large intestine and small intestine meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, relax the bowels and induce diuresis.

Indications

Dysentery, constipation, difficult urination, sores and boils, snake and insect bites.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 30~60 g, or made porridge. Proper dosage is for external applicationi, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of loose stool causing by spleen deficiency.
