Property

Pungent, slightly cool, slightly toxic.

Actions

Activate blood, disperse stasis, resolve swelling and alleviate pain.

Indications

Stomachache, sores and boils, hemoptysis, traumatic injury, strain of lumbar muscles, deep-rooted boil, acute filthy disease.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to Glaucoma patients for oral taking.
