The drug is the dried root, leaf or fruit of Trichilia sinensis Bcntv. (family Meliaceae), growing in low sea level hillsides or scrubs near coasts, and distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi of China.

Bitter, neutral, slightly toxic; liver and stomach meridians entered.
Kill parasites, dry dampness, relieve itching and stop bleeding.
Ulcer of lower limb, ascariasis, scabies, eczema and traumatic bleeding.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
