Meaning

Yi, shielding; feng, pathogenic wind.
The point is behind the earlobe and is the place for shieding off pathogenic wind.

Location

Posterior to the lobule of the ear, in the depression between the mandible and mastoid process.

Indication

  1. main point to treat ear diseases: tinnitus, deafness.
  2. facial paralysis.
  3. parotitis.
