Bitter, slightly sweet, cool.

Actions

Clear heat, relieve restlessness, resolve swelling and alleviate pain.

Indications

Sores and boils, sore throat, restlessness, dry mouth, pruritus, difficult urination with oliguria, seborrheic dermatitis, headache caused by wind-heat.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~15 g, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into juice or made into paste for applying.
