The Effect of Shuo Diao

Property

Sweet, sour, warm; liver meridian entered.

Actions

Dispel wind and eliminate dampness, activate blood and dissipate stasis.

Indications

Jaundice, sores and boils, traumatic injury, nephritis with edema, barbiers, dysentery, rheumatic arthritis, erysipelas, rubella, chronic tracheitis, bone fracture.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 6~12 g, or pounded ito juice or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, decocted for washing or pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
