Property

Bitter, warm; lung meridian entered.

Actions

Dispel wind and eliminate dampness, resolve phlegm and relieve cough, dissipate stasis and stimulate the menstrual flow.

Indications

Traumatic injury, dysmenorrhea, rheumatic arthritis, cough and dyspnea with excessive phlegm, abnormal menstruation.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
