Shanglianquan

Location

On the anterior median of the neck, 1 cun lateral below the jawbone.

Sit down and rely on, between the lower edge of chin and lower basihyal bone, 1 cun in the depression of the lower edge of chin, then find the Shanglianquan.

Indication

• Otorhinolaryngology system diseases: stomatitis, dental ulcer, hypoglossal paralysis, acute laryngopharyngitis and chronic laryngitis.
• Others: heritage disease or language barrier after cerebrovascular accident.

Method

Oblique insertion 0.5~0.8 cun towards the root of tongue.
