Sour, warm, slightly toxic; lung, stomach and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Expel water and resolve swelling, eliminate mass and kill parasites.

Indications

Abdominal mass, edema, sores and boils, difficulty in urination and defecation, amenorrhea due to blood stasis, phlegm and retained fluid, snake bites.

Dosage and Administrations

Take pill or powder, 1~2 g, decladding and deoiling. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying on the affected area.

Cations

It is contraindicated for loose stool and pregnant women.
