Qu Feng method

All methods and drugs that can cure wind syndromes are called Qu Feng. In TCM treatment, outside wind pathological factors should be evacuated. Wind syndromes have a wide range of categories; it can attack with cold, resulting in a very complex condition, so the prescription should be fully taken into consideration.

Evacuating wind syndrome:

When human body lacks of healthy qi, striae and interstitial space are loose, so the body is easily being attacked, resulting in wind syndrome. Due to the differences in weight, constitution and other factors, syndromes therefore vary. Wind syndromes here mentioned are those remained in meridians, muscles, bones and tendons and joints, symptoms as Limb pain, paralysis, Joint motor impairment,lockjaw and so on.

Common used medicines such as Herba Ephedrae, Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, Rhizoma seu Radix Notopterygii, Radix Saposhnikoviae, Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Ligusticum Wallichii, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Praeparata, Radix Aconiti Kusenzoffii, etc. Preferable usage of these drugs is to combine drugs of nourish blood functions to reach better efficacy. Prescriptions as The Prescription of Xiao Xu Ming Tang, Da Qin Jiao Tang, The Prescription of Duhuo Jisheng Tang.
