Property

Sweet, cool; lung, spleen and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Induce diuresis, resolve swelling, clear heat, remove toxicity, tonify deficiency.

Indications

Edema, dysentery, weakness after delivery, jaundice, epidemic disease characterized by swelling and redness of face, meteorism, infantile malnutrition, infantile herpes simplex, consumptive fever.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 1~3 frogs in water or cook it for eating, or made into pills and powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

Do not take too much.
