Property

Pungent, slightly bitter, warm, slightly toxic.

Actions

Warm the kidney, regulate the flow of qi, activate blood, alleviate pain, kill parasites.

Indications

Hernia, abdominal distension, cough caused by overstrain, stomachache, schistosomiasis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~6 g, or soaked in wine or made into powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder for applying.
