Property

Pungent, cool.

Actions

Clear heat, improve eyesight, remove toxicity and dissipate stasis, resolve swelling and relieve cough.

Indications

Dizziness with headache, cough caused by lung-heat, scalds and burns, swelling and aching of gum, aphtha, tongue boil, acute conjunctivitis, festered sores.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, made into paste for applying or pounded into juice for mouth-washing.
