Property

Bitter, sweet, cold; lung, heart, liver and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat, cool blood, induce diuresis and remove toxicity.

Indications

Measles, snake bites, stranguria with turbid discharge, herpes zoster, B encephalitis, malignant boil, tuberculosis with hemoptysis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 30~60 g, or double the dosage with the fresh, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
