Zhubin(KI9,筑宾) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Shaoyin Kidney Meridian of Foot. It is the Xi-cleft point of the Yin Link Vessel.

Location

On the medial side of the lower leg, 5 cun above Taixi(KI3), on the line between Taixi(KI3) and Yingu(KI10), below the belly of the gastrocnemius.

Indication

  • ①Epilepsy and mania;
  • ②hernia;
  • ③vomiting;
  • ④pain in the medial aspect of the leg.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-0.7 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
