Property

Sweet, slightly bitter, astringent, hot, toxic; liver and kidney meridians entered.

Actions

Dispel phlegm, induce tranquilization, stop cough and relieve asthma.

Indications

Palpitation, night sweat, insomnia and easy to wake up, spontaneous perspiration, cough and asthma with cold phlegm.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 0.3~0.9 g.

Cations

It is toxic, so it cann’t be taken overdosage. It is contraindicated to pregnant women, glaucoma and severely prostatic hypertrophy.
