The Effect of Han Qin

Property

Sweet, pungent, slightly bitter, cool; liver, stomach and lung meridians entered.

Actions

Calm the liver, clear heat, dispel wind and promote diuresis.

Indications

Hypertension, dizziness, headache, carbuncle, bloody stranguria, flushed face with hot eyes.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or 30~60 g of the fresh, or made into pills. Proper dosage is for external application, decocted for washing or pounded for applying.
