Ingredients

Explanation

Gui Zhi: Expelling pathogenic factors from the muscles and skin by means of diaphoresis, warming the channels to expel pathogenic cold.

Bai Shao: Nourishing the liver to relieve pain.

Sheng Jiang: Being pungent in taste and warm in nature, dispersing accumulation of pathogens, regulating the stomach to arrest vomiting.

Da Zao: Invigorating the spleen-Qi, relieving the liver depression, treating deficiency of the heart.

Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.

Effect

Warm yang to dispel cold, direct qi downward.

Administrations

Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
