Cool, bland.

Actions

Clear heat, release exterior syndrome, remove toxicity and resolve swelling, eliminate dampness.

Indications

Toothache, whooping cough, flu, chronic trachitis, traumatic injury, amygdalitis, hot eyes, enteritis, bacillary dysentery.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or pounded into powder, or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of leprosy.
