Property

Pungent, slightly cool; heart, spleen, stomach and large intestine meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat, relieve thirst, dispel the effects of alcohol and remove toxicity.

Indications

Malaria, erysipelas, diabetes, dysentery, haemorrhoids bleeding, headache caused by drunkness, deep-rooted boil.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or made into powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
