Property

Pungent, slightly bitter, warm; liver and heart meridians entered.

Actions

Activate blood, dredge meridians to alleviate pain, dispel wind and cold.

Indications

Headache, toothache, rheumatic arthritis, apoplexy, hemiplegia, angina pectoris.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or pounded into powder to steam with egg. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
