The Effect of Da Ye Jin Hua Cao

Property

Slightly bitter, cold; liver, lung and large intestine meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, eliminate dampness and stop bleeding.

Indications

Sore throat, dysentery, sores and boils, mumps, burns and scalds, aphtha, hepatitis, enteritis, cough, fever due to cold, snake bites, traumatic bleeding, urine with blood, hematemesis, hematochezia, eczema, morbid leucorrhea due to damp-heat, lyssodexis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~30 g or take the juice. Proper dosage is for external application. Pounded into powder for applying or decocted for washing.
