Property

Bitter, cold; heart and liver meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat, remove toxicity, expel wind and eliminate dampness.

Indications

Nose bleeding, dysentery, headache, jaundice, sour throat, toothache, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis, epidemic encephalitis B, enteritis, high fever.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or 30~60 g of the fresh. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
