Property
Sweet, slightly bitter, slightly cold; liver, lung, spleen and bladder meridians entered.
Actions
Activate blood and cool blood, treat stranguria, relieve cough, dissipate nodule and remove toxicity.
Indications
haematemesis, nose bleeding, sores and boils, snake bites, scrofula, leucorrhea, uterine bleeding, retained placenta, stranguria with turbid discharge, cough with bloody phlegm, orchitis, periostitis, swelling and pain of eyes, leucoma.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 15~30 g, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying, or pounded into juice for eye drops.
Cautions
It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
