Property

Sweet, neutral; large intestine, spleen, lung, kidney, liver and heart meridians entered.

Actions

Tonify qi, check diarrhea, strengthen the tendons and bones.

Indications

Diarrhea caused by spleen deficiency, whooping cough, rheumatic arthritis, infantile malnutrition.

Dosage and Administrations

cook it for eating, or stir-bake it into charcoal and then pound into powder.

Cautions

Avoid eating with pork.
