Property

Bitter, sweet, cool; spleen and kidney meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat, relieve thrist, dispel wind and improve eyesight, tonify deficiency, replenish essence.

Indications

Sores and boils, nebula, night blindness, uterine bleeding, leucorrhea, polydipsia, hot eyes, deficient fever.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 60~240 g of the fresh, or cook it for eating. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into juice for ear drops, or decocted for washing.

Cautions

Its action can be weakened by cheese.
