The Effect of Bie Jia Jiao


Salty, slightly cold; lung, liver and kidney meridians entered.


Nourish yin, supplement blood, abatement of fever and resolve stagnation.


Hot flashes with yin deficiency, malaria, swelling and pain of haemorrhoids.

Dosage and Administrations

Melted by boiled water or millet wine for oral administration, 3~9 g, or made into pills.


It should be used carefully for people with deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach, and those who eat less and have loose stool or pregnant women.
