The Effect of Ba Yue Zha

Property

Slightly bitter, neutral; liver and stomach meridians entered.

Actions

Soothe liver and regulate qi, invigorate blood and alleviate pain, relieve restlessness and induce diuresis.

Indications

Polydipsia, lumbago, hypochondrium pain，hernia, hysteroptosis, dysentery.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, 30~60 g for large dosage; or made into alcoholic preparation.

Cations

It is contraindicated to people with diarrhea due to spleen deficiency and pregnant women.
