Ingredients

The ingredients of An Shen Gao:

Explanation

Zhen Zhu Mu: Calming the liver and suppressing the hyperactivities of the liver-Yang.

Wu Wei Zi: Astringing the Lung to relieve cough.

Dan Shen: Promoting blood circulation and dispelling blood stasis.

Shou Wu Teng: Nourishing the heart and inducing tranquilization, dispelling wind and unblocking collateral.

Sheng Di: Removing heat from the blood, arresting bleeding, nourishing Yin, reducing fever.

Shi Chang Pu: Inducing resuscitation and refreshing mind, resolving dampness and harmonizing the stomach, calming the heart and inducing tranquilization.

He Huan Pi: Inducing tranquilization and relieving depression, activating blood and relieving swelling.

Nv Zhen Zi: Nourishing the liver and kidney, improving eyesight.

Mo Han Lian: Nourishing the liver and kidney, cooling blood to stop bleeding.

Tu Si Zi: Tonifying the kidney, nourishing essence, nourish the liver to improve vision, reducing urination and stopping leukorrhagia, tonifying the spleen to check diarrhea.
