The Effect of Agkistrodon Brevicaudi

Property

Sweet, warm, slightly toxic; spleen an d liver meridians entered.

Actions

Dispel wind, dredge meridians, alleviate pain and remove toxicity.

Indications

Scrofula, haemorrhoids, scabies, rheumatic arthritis, tumor, leprosy.

Dosage and Administrations

Soaked in wine for drinking or stir-baked for its powder. Proper dosage is for external application, soaked in wine or oil for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency, anaemia and pregnant women.
