The Effect of Fu Rong Hua

Property

Pungent, cool; lung and liver meridians entered.

Actions

Clear lung heat and cool blood, dissipate heat and remove toxicity, resolve swelling and expel pus.

Indications

Scrofula, cough due to lung heat, leucorrhea, acute appendicitis; sores and boils, burns and scalds, innominate swelling and pain, purulent ear for external application.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 10~30 g.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women and people with deficiency cold. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder for applying.
