The Effect of 葫芦茶

Property

Bitter, astringent, cool; lung, liver and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, eliminate dampness and treat jaundice, remove food retention and kill parasites.

Indications

Sore throat, dysentery, jaundice, cold, infantile malnutrition, rheumatic arthritis, enteritis, scabies, vomiting of pregnancy, hookworm disease, hemoptysis caused by pulmonary disease.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~60 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
