Sweet, bitter, warm.

Actions

Eliminate phlegm, relieve cough, expel wind and eliminate dampness, activate blood and resolve swelling, prevent abortion, promote the secretion of milk.

Indications

Cough with chest pain, rheumatic arthritis, acute mastitis, traumatic injury, sores and boils, threatened abortion, nephritis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~30 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
