The Effect of 水苏

Property

Pungent, slightly warm; lung and stomach meridians entered.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, relieve cough and sore throat, stop bleeding and resolve swelling.

Indications

Cold, sore throat, traumatic injury, stranguria, dysentery, nose bleeding, hematemesis, hemoptysis, the consumptive lung disease, pulmonary abscess, wind syndrome of head, dizziness, acute filthy disease.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to weak people.
