The Effect of 娃儿藤

Property

Pungent, warm, slightly toxic.

Actions

Expel wind and resolve phlegm, remove toxicity and dissipate stasis.

Indications

Sore throat, toothache, rheumatic arthritis, traumatic injury, stomachache, infantile convulsion, abdominal pain caused by sunstroke, asthma with phlegm and cough.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women and weak people.
