Kunlun
Kunlun(BL60,昆仑) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot. It is the Jing-River Point of the bladder.
Meaning
Kunlun, the name of mountains in West China.
The lateral malleolus is shaped like a mountain, and the point is located next to it.
Location
In the depression between the apex of the external malleolus and the heel tendon.
Indication
- Headache in the temple area.
- Prolonged labor.
- Sciatic neuralgia, paraplegia.
- Pain of the malleolus joint, sprain, etc.
Method
- Puncture obliquely to the front of the internal malleolus 0.5-1cun.
- Pregnant women can't be punctured.
